Moving into a new-build in North West Preston and Cottam

Why this matters in Preston

Moving into a new-build in North West Preston and Cottam is a common question for households comparing local firms. Preston Removals Service works from 12 Holstein Street, Preston PR1 1UN. We are a local team, we use Luton vans, and insurance is provided.

Practical steps

1. List rooms and large items before you ask for a quote.
2. Note parking, stairs and lift bookings at both addresses.
3. Decide whether you need packing help for kitchens or fragile rooms.
4. Keep documents, medicines and pet kits with you on the day.

For service detail see our house removals page. City-wide Preston removals sits on the homepage.

Costs without published rates

We do not publish hourly figures on the site. Use the moving cost calculator for a rough range, then request a free written quote that matches your list. Access, parking and packing change the job more than a bedroom count alone.

Local notes

Deepdale match days, city-centre resident bays and unfinished new-build roads all affect van access. Share those details early so we can plan the Luton stop.

Checklist

• Confirm completion or key collection times
• Photograph meter readings
• Reserve lift slots in blocks where needed
• Tell neighbours if we will use a shared drive
• Pack a first-night box with kettle, chargers and bedding

When to call us

Call 01772393787 if the chain date slips, if parking rules change, or if you need packing materials delivered ahead of the van. We will adjust the plan where we can and keep the quote clear.
